''When a child doesn’t have to worry about their next meal, they can dream bigger, learn better, and build a future full of possibility. Hunger shouldn’t hold them back.'
At Side by Side Kids, we provide daily meals to ensure that no child in our program goes hungry. The meals help to prevent hunger for children who may have eaten lunch hours before and are hungry. We are currently providing snacks, but it doesn't take the place of a warm nutritious meal that meet basic needs so they can focus. Without immediate support, many of these students will go home hungry.
